Dynamo's youth team played its first sparring match at the training camp in Turkey. Ihor Kostiuk's team won a strong-willed victory over Swiss side Natters 2-1.

Kostiuk has been letting Ozymai join the youth team step by step. I will write about this player in more detail in the autumn. Ozymai is a central midfielder with good qualities who can grow into the first team. Volodymyr scored his goals thanks to his football intelligence. He was in the right place at the right time. The progress in recent months is obvious. In the spring, this will be a fighting unit at the level of the youth team. It was good for Ozymai that he was taken to the U-19s at such a young age.
It's also worth noting that right-back Oleksiy Rybak, also born in 2007, is working with the youth team. He is a player who is called up to the Ukrainian national team at his age. He is a modern type of wing-back who is expected to replace Oleksiy Husyev in the youth team in the future.
Bohdan Redushko, a winger born in 2007, played the first half. He was not included in the 2007 national team for the Euro U-17 qualifiers, but he is still one of the candidates. He is a gifted football talent who showed great results at the U-17 level. Therefore, he deservedly got a chance from Kostyuk. Bohdan needs to gain experience.
Pavlo Liusin went to the training camp. He was born in 2008. He shows great promise. He is a very clever, creative central midfielder who can cut and shoot thanks to his own skills. Volodymyr Yezerskyi not only called him up to the Ukraine national team born in 2007, but also put him in the main squad. Lucin needed time to adapt to Dynamo's youth team and to understand the new requirements. He doesn't spoil the porridge.
I didn't really like the centre of defence. Due to the absence of Taras Mykhavko, the pair of Nazar Balaba and Yegor Syzonyuk played in the centre of defence at first. These are the players of 2005. They played together even in the national team of their age. In the first half, there were plenty of failures in the centre of defence. After the break, Vladyslav Zakharchenko, a player born in 2006, joined Balaba. Last season he played on loan for Zorya's youth team. It became more reliable. However, the opponent also made substitutions of key players. Let's not forget about another defender of 2006, Maksym Korobov.
Matvii Ponomarenko is working with the first team. In the first half against the Swiss, Vitalii Lobko played at the forefront. After the break, Yevhen Korol took his place. Both did not look very convincing. Forward Vladislav Gerich was absent. He hasn't played since mid-autumn because of an injury. Now he has started working with a physical trainer.
Also, one of the leaders of the autumn part of the season, Roman Salenko, missed the sparring. He has a micro-injury. Roman should return to the general group in the near future. Central midfielder David Bilyi has recovered from an injury. He was born in 2006. He did not play much in the autumn. Finally, goalkeeper Yuriy Avramenko recovered and came on in the second half. This 2005 goalkeeper has excellent anthropometry - 2 metres tall. In the autumn, Kyiv lacked competition and depth in this position.
It was clear that the team was working hard, but they were able to press the opposition for two halves and play as the first team. Kirill Pashko is worth mentioning. In addition to additional confidence, Kyrylo has become much more physically mature.
