The first week of Dynamo Kyiv's training camp in Turkey has come to an end. Every day, Oleksandr Shovkovskyi's team held two training sessions, and on the day of the first friendly match, they also trained in the morning.
Sunday was no exception - Dynamo held two training sessions. The morning session was full of interesting agility and intelligence exercises during the warm-up, which the players performed in three groups in turn.
At the first location, the players split into pairs and took turns trying to catch up with each other, moving in a limited space around the training mock-ups.
At the second location, two players stood opposite each other and, on the coach's signal, had to run around the training racks of two different colours. The race started when the coach called out the colour of the rack to be run around first.
In the third one, two players had to run around the training area and shoot from one small goal to another.
These exercises caused a real surge of good emotions and drive in the players. The next exercise, during which the players were divided into teams, also proved to be competitive. One group of players threw the ball in according to the rules of out, while the other ran into the penalty area to hit the goal with a header. In this case, the goalkeepers were the field players themselves - those who had already scored.
Next, a mini-tournament of four teams on small fields began, but instead of one standard goal, each team tried to hit two small ones. The team in green training bibs won the mini-tournament.
The intense morning session of goal-kicking practice came to an end. Split into two groups in different parts of the field, the field players took shots from striking distance from different positions, with the goalkeepers taking turns in goal.
The evening training session also ended with shots and saves, and again the goalkeepers had to work hard.
In general, the evening session was full of various game and tactical exercises. The players worked in small squares and on the whole pitch. Special attention was again paid to the draws of standard positions.
A kind of result of the first week of the training camp will be two control matches with good sparring partners, which Dynamo will play in the next two days. On Monday, the White and Blues will meet the most titled club in Poland, the current vice-champion of the country, Legia, and on Tuesday - the most titled club in Uzbekistan, the champion of the last five years, Pakhtakor.
