Famous commentator Igor Tsyganik expressed his opinion on the situation with the forwards at Dynamo Kyiv.
"Everyone says that Ponomarenko has great potential, but he is still young. As far as I understand, even Lucescu was ready to take Ponomarenko to the first team. However, there will be serious competition: Supryaga is getting fit. He had a minor injury, but he is working very hard. Supryaga can compete with Vanat, so Ponomarenko will be only the third forward.
I believe that Supryaga understands that this is his last chance to make a name for himself. It's not for nothing that such big money was paid for him. At one time, Ajax offered Dnipro-1 good money for him, but Dynamo simply outbid them.
As for Ponomarenko, this is an option for Shovkovskyi, but not the first one. He still has a lot of work to do to gain stability," Tsyganik said on Tsyganik Live.
