Aleksander Čeferin: "I have made a decision... I no longer plan to run for UEFA president"

UEFA president Aleksander Čeferin has said he no longer plans to run for the presidency of the organisation.

"I have taken a decision ... I no longer plan to run for UEFA president in the 2027 elections," Ceferin was quoted as saying by journalist Rob Harris on his Twitter page.

Interestingly, earlier today the UEFA Congress adopted changes to the organisation's statutes that allowed Čeferin to run for president of the organisation again.
