A ceremony organised by the National Sports Agency (former Ministry of Sport) took place in Romania to award the best sports figures of this country for 2023.
The winner in one of the nominations was the former head coach of Dynamo Kyiv Mircea Lucescu. He received a special award "Legend of Sport". The award was presented to the specialist by the famous Romanian sportsman and now businessman Ion Ciriac.
"The fact that I received this award was an extremely pleasant surprise for me, especially as I have a fantastic admiration for Ciriac and everything he has done in sport," Lucescu said during the ceremony.
