Roman Zozulya: "The war is much closer than you can imagine. Go to the cemetery and look at the number of flags..."

Former Dynamo Kyiv and Ukrainian national team forward Roman Zozulya has spoken out about the second anniversary of Russia's war against Ukraine.

Роман Зозуля

"2 years... Two years of unbridled pain.

730 bloody days.

17520 hours of fierce hatred.

1051200 minutes of unbreakable struggle.

63072000 seconds of anxiety.

These are not just numbers. These are the realities of those who live in Ukraine today. Yes, we are holding on. We are fighting. We are losing and gaining. Few believed that we would survive.

Two years of fighting for life. Every day we worry about those who defend our land. Every hour is spent working to find money for requests.

Have we done much in these two years? For some people, probably, but not for us. We understand that we can do more. But unfortunately, it is impossible to do it on our own. And more and more people in the country are getting "tired"... But of what?

Dear friends, the war is much closer than you can imagine. It is much more terrible than you see in the news and on the photos. If you need to see the realities, go to the cemetery and see how many flags there are...", Zozulya wrote on his Facebook page.
