Mudryk called Arsenal in tears when he learnt that his transfer from Shakhtar had broken down

Some details of the failed transfer of Ukrainian midfielder Mykhailo Mudryk to Arsenal in London have become known.

According to CentreGoals, the footballer hoped to the last that his transfer from Shakhtar to Arsenal would still take place:

"Mikhail Mudryk, on the way to the airport, in tears called Arsenal and asked them to do something after the transfer to Arsenal failed," - stated in the report.

Recall, eventually the Ukrainian moved from Shakhtar to Chelsea, which agreed to pay for the footballer a whopping 70 million euros and another 30 million euros in bonuses.
