Referee Marco Di Bello, who officiated the match of the 27th round of Serie A between Lazio and Milan (0:1), will be suspended for a month due to controversial decisions.

According to getfootballnewsitaly.com, the Italian Referees' Association was dissatisfied with his decision to show a red card to Matteo Gendusi for his reaction to a foul against Christian Pulisic. In the latter case, the referee did not stop the game after Lazio forward Castellanos was injured. In addition, it is believed that Di Bello lost control of the match by showing six yellow cards to Milan players.

Interestingly, this is the 42-year-old referee's second disqualification this season. For the first time, Di Bello was sanctioned for the Juventus vs Bologna match in Round 2, when he failed to award a penalty against the Old Lady after a foul against Dan Ndoye.
