The President of the Ukrainian Football Association, Andriy Shevchenko, attended a training session of the Ukrainian national team made up of amputees.
The leader of our football stressed the importance of socialisation for football players and invited everyone to join the training sessions, which can be signed up for at amp@uaf.ua.
The training sessions take place in Kyiv on the artificial pitches of the V. Bannikov Science and Technology Centre on Tuesdays and Thursdays (starting at 19:00).
It is worth noting that amp-football is an ongoing competition with national teams from other countries under the auspices of the EAFF and a great opportunity to prove yourself. In particular, the men's national team of amputees is preparing for the European Summer Championships, and the women's team is being formed into a single national team.
