Shakhtar players told why they did not go to the Ukrainian Olympic team

Shakhtar players Dmytro Kryskiv and Artem Bondarenko told TaToTaka about the reasons that prevented them from flying with the Ukrainian Olympic team to Japan.

Dmytro Kryskiv

Dmytro Kryskiv: "It so happens that I played 4 games in 12 days. And in the second half with "Karpaty" felt the calf muscle. I went to MRI. Diagnosis: oedema with damage. Now I`m in Kyiv, I`m recovering with a rehabilitator".

Artem Bondarenko: "I have been feeling back pain for a long time. Now it is more inflamed than always. We decided that if because of this problem I will not be able to play at 100 per cent - it should be healed during the break. The match with Karpaty showed that the pain hinders. The team got a few days off, and I undergo daily treatments. I should add that I have a very warm relationship with the coaching staff of the Olympic team. If I was ready - I would go with the team with great pleasure".
