At the junction of these weeks the matches of the 23rd round of the Ukrainian championship of the season-2023/24 take place. In one of them on Monday, 8 April, Dynamo Kyiv and Cherkasy LNZ met. The match was held in Kyiv at the Dynamo stadium named after Valeriy Lobanovskiy.

"Dynamo started this match actively and aggressively and looked really powerful in the opening of the match. LNZ tried their best to suppress the opponent's attacking onslaught with the help of pressing, but it was of little use. And as a result, on 15 minutes the Kyivians opened the scoring: Vanat played an overhead pass in the centre zone to Yarmolenko, the latter took the pass near the penalty area line and masterfully shot over the goalkeeper - 1:0.
Moreover, ten minutes later Dynamo had to double their advantage, but Brazhko, having found himself one-on-one with Kucherenko six metres from the goal, failed to realise such a great chance - the LNZ goalkeeper reacted to his shot.
All the remaining time Dynamo continued to play attacking game, and soon the goalkeeper of the guests had to react to dangerous shots of Vanat and Shaparenko. It seemed that it was inevitably going to the second goal of the Bilo-Syni, but the opposite happened. On the 40th minute of the match Nescheret rudely made a mistake when serving from a corner, let the ball out of his hands and it was put into the net by Salihu on the far post - 1:1, and it was with such an illogical score that the first half of the meeting ended.
In the second half Dynamo also had the advantage. And already on the 55th minute of the game Kyivians created another goal moment - it was Vivcharenko who made a powerful shot from 20 metres, the ball flew exactly under the crossbar, but once again Kucherenko saved his team. Then Shaparenko shot from a free kick and the ball flew half a metre from the bar. However, LNZ could also score: in the 62nd minute of the game Cherkasy team's attack ended with Einel's shot from the goalkeeper's area, but the ball was sent straight into the hands of Nescheret.
The Kyivians continued to play the game in the first place, but with each minute it was more and more felt that they were in a hurry. And this, of course, did not do any good. As a result, in the final part of the second half, the "white-blue" recorded only a few good long-range shots and the moment of Vanat, who shot a header from 8 metres, but once again the LNZ goalkeeper was at his best. At the same time, in the 89th minute of the match Nescheret had to work hard to reach the ball, which flew under the crossbar after a long-range shot by Yashari.
Dynamo missed the last chance in the second half, when Vanat shot from 12 meters without any obstacles and any guardianship, but directed the ball almost in the centre of the goal, and Kucherenko eliminated the threat without any problems. In the end, the referee recorded a draw - 1:1.
After this result, Dynamo remained in third place in the league standings, but now they are four points behind the leading Shakhtar.
In the next round Dynamo will have an away game with Oleksandriya. This meeting will take place next Saturday, 13 April, in Alexandria at the Nika stadium (kick-off - at 15:30).
