Ex-goalkeeper of London Arsenal David Seaman, commenting on the defeat of his former team from Aston Villa (0:2) in the next round of the championship of England, criticised the game in defence of the Ukrainian legionnaire of the "canoniers" Oleksandr Zinchenko.
"If we talk about Zinchenko as a left-back, I know that he likes to play in the centre of the field. But at the same time, he occasionally gives the ball to the opponent in really important positions. In the match against Aston Villa he made such a mistake a couple of times again. And that annoys everyone.
Overall, the defeat to Aston Villa is frustrating, of course, because Arsenal had a great chance to really improve their league position. But it's just one game, so we have to think about the next matches. We have a very important game against Bayern Munich in the Champions League quarter-finals. If we don't do well in that game, then the next game - against Wolverhampton - could be difficult," Seaman said on the Seaman Says podcast.
