One of the coaches of Luhansk "Zorya" Mladen Bartulovic criticised the refereeing in yesterday's postponed match of the 10th round of the Ukrainian championship with Shakhtar Donetsk (1:3).
"A very emotional match. Pride for our team. Over the last 19 days, this is the fifth match for us, but despite this, we managed to play against Shakhtar in the minority, and even with such refereeing, which, to put it mildly, was not in our favour. A lot of unjustified decisions of the referee.
Plus our leading players were excluded from the next match - Guerrero, Batagov, Butko, Jordan. Four players will not be able to take part in the next match (again with Shakhtar, within the 25th round of the Ukrainian championship - ed.). To put it mildly, it is not very good.
I wonder when the referees will go for a lie detector? Everyone talks about it, but there are no answers. That's what I wonder. Panchyshyn refereed our match with Dnipro-1, and three days later he is refereeing us again. There are no other referees? A lot of questions, but no answers. Okay, no problem. Let's keep working.
Refereeing was the key reason for our defeat. From the first minute it was obvious that the referee wanted to help Shakhtar. Yes, the Pitmen are good, a good team, good players. But it is easy to play when there is such help," Bartulovic said on the FootballHub Youtube channel.
