Dnipro-1 head coach Yuriy Maksymov commented on the draw of his team's match with Veres Rivne (1-1) in the 25th round of the Ukrainian championship yesterday.
"We were setting ourselves up to win. In general, we go to every match to win. But, in my opinion, a draw today is a natural result.
During the winter break, a lot of guys left us - six players, and we didn't take anyone except Ocheretko, and then at the very last moment. We had a transfer ban, it was all very difficult and we realised that we would not be able to win the championship with 13 players. So the latest results (Dnipro-1 drew for the third match in a row - ed. note) were natural, this is my opinion. Not even 20 players play football," Maksymov's words were quoted by Dnipro-1's official website.
