This weekend are the matches of the 27th round of the Ukrainian championship of the season-2023/24. In one of them on Sunday, 5 May, Dynamo Kyiv and Kolos Kovalivka met. The match was held in Kyiv at the Dynamo stadium named after Valeriy Lobanovskiy.

"Kolos did not allow Dynamo to seize the advantage in the starting segment of the match, as the Bilo-Syni managed to do in the previous matches: the guests offered Shovkovskiy's team extremely tough football with high pressing. So Dynamo had big problems to develop their attacks.
Nevertheless, in the 17th minute of the game, the hosts were close to a goal - it was Popov who won the battle in the air on a corner kick and shot with his head from six metres - the ball flew just centimetres from the far post. And ten minutes later after another corner in the penalty area of "Kolos" there was a complete confusion, and Kyiv almost pushed the ball into the net - it was knocked to someone from the field players of "Kolos" literally from the goal line.
Well, on 35 minutes Shaparenko managed to take the ball away from Burda in the penalty area (!) "Kolos", found himself one-on-one with Fesun, but he reacted perfectly to this situation, managed to play with his feet, the ball hit Yarmolenko, then returned to the goalkeeper and he took it in his hands. As a result, the teams went into the break with zeros on the scoreboard.
But in just four minutes of the second half Dynamo managed to score three goals at once! In the 48th minute of the match Shaparenko, performing a free kick from the right flank, made a cross to the goal, where Bondarenko unsuccessfully put his foot under the ball and it went into the net - 1:0. In the 51st minute Yarmolenko, receiving a pass in the central zone, stopped the ball with his first touch and simultaneously turned 180 degrees, and the second - hit the bottom corner of the visitors' goal - 2:0. And a minute later, Buyalsky played effectively in the selection on the half of the field "Kolos", took the game on himself, at the entrance to the penalty area played with Shaparenko and brought the score to a big - 3:0.
Shock for Kolos and liberation - for Dynamo - these were the first consequences of the extravaganza start of the second half, so it is not surprising that the next half of the game was held on the half of the field of the Kovalivka team. And, as a result, on the 68th minute of the match it resulted in another goal of the hosts: Kyivians "laid" a gorgeous "fan" in touch from the left flank to the right flank - Voloshin - Shaparenko - Kabaev, and the latter sent the ball into the net of Kolos goal - 4:0. And only three minutes later followed the fifth goal: Karavaev gave a cross pass from the right flank to Buyalskiy, who missed this pass to Voloshin, the latter, as a result, found himself one-on-one with the goalkeeper and did not miss his chance - 5:0.
But even with this score Dynamo continued to fully control the game. But, of course, they were not as aggressive as before. "Kolos" looked absolutely doomed. Therefore, the end of the match turned into a complete formality, and the scoreboard did not change.
After this result, Dynamo scored 63 points, still occupy second place in the league standings and are one point behind the leading Shakhtar, but the Pitmen have not yet played their match of the 27th round (today the Pitmen meet Chornomorets from Odessa).
In the next round Dynamo will have an away game with Shakhtar. This meeting will take place next Saturday, 11 May, in Lviv at the Arena Lviv stadium (kick-off - at 18:00).
