Consultant of the Committee of referees of the Ukrainian Football Association (UAF) Nicola Rizzoli believes that the penalty in the gate of Kyiv Dynamo in the match of this team with Shakhtar Donetsk (0:1) in the 28th round of the championship of Ukraine was appointed fairly.
"Dynamo player Konstantin Vivcharenko, trying to create an obstacle to the goal kick, put his hand in an unnatural position, increasing himself in size. Therefore, the correct decision in this situation would have been to award a penalty.
But unfortunately, the head referee didn't do that. And the VAR referee recommended to the referee to review the episode described above - that's the right decision," Rizzoli said for the UAF Youtube channel, but for some reason did not touch on the ignored foul on Vitaliy Buyalskiy, which preceded the episode with a penalty.
