On 12 May, the youth national team of Ukraine (players not older than 2007) travelled to Cyprus, where the final part of Euro 2024 U-17 will take place from 20 May to 5 June. On the eve of the tournament, the Blue and Yellows' coach Yuriy Moroz answered questions at a press conference.

It will probably be difficult to play against the host team with the support of the Cypriot fans. But all teams are on equal terms. I think that in the course of the match the guys will cope with this psychological state. But it will be difficult, we understand that.
I agree with the opinion of my fellow coaches that there is a high level of organisation here - there are practically no questions. As for the tournament position, we all want to win. But it's also important to show a spectacular game so that the guys do what they want on the football field and the strongest ones win," Moroz said.
