As already reported, Greek Olympiacos beat Italian side Fiorentina 1-0 in the Conference League final yesterday. This triumph was historic not only for the team from Piraeus, but also for the whole of Greece.
Until yesterday, no Greek club had ever won the European Cup. As a result, Greece became the 20th country whose clubs have won the European Cup.
