Romanian coach Razvan Lucescu shared his expectations of the Romanian national team's performance at Euro 2024.

They give up too easily. In the qualifying campaign for Euro 2024, we took first place in the group, but this was facilitated by circumstances - we played against teams that had game problems.
The group we got to the Euros looked easy at first. But then we got the Ukrainian national team, and the complexity of this group increased significantly. The Ukrainian national team is a team with very good players who play in strong championships. They will certainly also have a huge motivation, given what is happening in Ukraine with this infamous war," Orangesport.ro quoted Lucescu as saying.
It will be recalled that the Ukrainian national team will start its journey to Euro 2024 with a match against Romania in the 1st round of the European Championship group stage. The match will take place on 17 June in Munich. The match starts at 16:00 Kyiv time.
