On Thursday, Ukraine's national team held an official training session at the National Stadium in Warsaw, where the Blue and Yellows will play a friendly match against Poland today as part of their preparations for Euro 2024.
The training session was attended by all 26 players present in the national team camp. The team jogged on the arena's lawn, after which they performed a set of preparatory exercises before the main part of the training. In particular, there were interesting tasks from the physical training coach Vitaliy Kulyba - for agility and speed of reaction.
After that, there were a series of games aimed at preparing for tomorrow's match and developing tactical models of the game. Head coach Serhii Rebrov promised at a press conference to rotate the squad compared to the match against Germany, so today the coaching staff tested different combinations of players in the lineups.
While doing their work, the guys got acquainted with the pitch of the capital's arena, which is in good condition. The grass at the evening training session was a little higher than usual, but that's because both national teams trained on it today. This morning, the arena staff will mow the lawn, so it will be in perfect condition for the Poland-Ukraine match.
