In the 10th minute, Sikan hit the crossbar after a cross from Giant, and Batagov missed the finish. Later, the Japanese managed to block the shots of our players. Closer to halftime, the goalkeepers saved their teams after attempts by Yasuda and Hlan. In the 42nd minute, our guys opened the scoring - Sikan passed to the penalty line, and Velyten scored a well-aimed shot from the bottom.
After the break, Yermakov saved our team after Yasuda and Yukutomo's shots. And in the 55th minute, the Ukrainians scored again - Velyten received a pass from Khlan in the penalty area and made a double. Subsequently, Yarmolyuk scored a great shot near the post, and Yermakov coped with Shiogai's shot.
At the end of the match, the Japanese took the lead, and in the 81st minute Shiogai scored after a shot by his partner. In stoppage time, Araki made a double save after Kucheryavyi and Krasnopir's shots, and then did not allow himself to be beaten by Hlanya. As a result, the Blue and Yellows held on to their 2-1 lead.
Having won all four matches, the Ukrainians took first place in the group. Thus, Ruslan Rotan's wards reached the final of the tournament, where on June 16 they will play against the Ivory Coast team, which also secured the first place ahead of schedule.
