Oleksiy Belik once again complained about Dynamo U-19's championship

Shakhtar U-19 head coach Oleksiy Belik has once again expressed his dissatisfaction with the "unfair" championship of Dynamo U-19.

- "We finished the championship in second place in the standings, although Shakhtar should always be in first place. I believe that the reason for this lies not in the level of our game, but in what happened off the football field.

A lot has been said about this during the season, but I just want to remind you of these points. Dynamo's opponents moved their home matches to Kyiv, and it turned out that Dynamo played away games on their own field. This is both a violation of the regulations and simply a dishonest move in terms of fair competition. In addition, Kyiv moved matches that were supposed to be played on artificial turf to natural lawns, which gave them an advantage.

While Shakhtar had to play away games on synthetic turf, even though our team had a more intense schedule and more difficult conditions, as they simultaneously represented the country in the UEFA Youth League. Of course, this is not an excuse, but these factors still became additional difficulties for our team and had a certain impact on the results in the fight for the championship," Belik was quoted as saying by the official website of Donetsk.
