Kryvbas head coach Yuriy Vernydub spoke about his vision of the tasks for the Ukrainian national team at Euro 2024.
Yuriy Vernydub- "We have heard the minimum task, and the players will be given the maximum task after leaving the group. It is worth stepping up to all the tops gradually. When the guys leave the group, the next task will be to make it to the quarterfinals, and then to the semifinals. I won't predict that we will get that far, but everyone dreams of it.
As for the favorites, the top five teams have equal chances of triumph. Therefore, I consider England, Spain, Germany, France and Italy to be the favorites. However, England still has the strongest team, which, moreover, is motivated by the fact that it has never won the European Championship in history," the expert believes.
