Last Friday's second training session for the Ukrainian national team was held in more favorable weather conditions: unlike in the morning, it did not rain. However, the sun, although shining, was not warm. The weather in Hesse is openly autumnal, so a jacket in early June is quite appropriate.
"The home field of the Ukrainian national team is located right on top of a hill, which offers a magnificent view of the town of Taunusstein, where the Blue and Yellows now live. In fact, the team is located on the outskirts of the town, where there are few residents. In addition, in accordance with the security requirements of Germany and the organizers of Euro 2024, the hotel's territory is completely fenced off, so no unexpected guests can be expected in the team's camp.
With nothing to distract them from concentrating on preparing for the start of the final tournament, the national team held an evening training session. The main part of the session was devoted to practicing ball possession, passing and fulfilling the tactical tasks of the coaching staff. During the game series, the boys demonstrated zeal and thirst to fight for every ball: the Euro is approaching, and everyone in the camp wants to get their time to participate in the games. The training session ended with shots on goal and stretching to restore muscles.
Also yesterday afternoon, the national team players were photographed in new official smart casual suits, custom-made by the UAF at the Indposhiv classic tailoring studio. The premiere of the new national team look will take place today, when the players of the national team of Ukraine leave their training base for the airport, heading for Munich, their starting point for Euro 2024.
