Former journalist Igor Burbas said on the air of his Youtube program that four Ukrainian footballers will not go to the Olympics.
We are talking about Ilya Zabarny (Bournemouth), Mykhailo Mudryk (Chelsea), Yegor Yarmolyuk (Brentford) and Ivan Zhelizko (Lechia). Their clubs refused to let their players go to the Olympics and have already sent official letters to the UAF.
Since the Olympic tournament does not fall under the FIFA dates, it gives the clubs every right not to release their players to their national teams.
It is also known that Dynamo Kyiv will definitely let Maxim Bragaru and Mykola Mykhailenko go to the tournament.
