Former Ukraine forward Andriy Voronin spoke about the level of play and the result of the Blue and Yellows at Euro 2024: he was dissatisfied with the mood and motivation of the players in the game against Romania and noted that poor preparation could have contributed to this.
- There were no emotions after the match with Romania, just like everyone else. I did not expect this. Consider that we have disgraced ourselves with the game and the result, especially in the second half, which we played weakly and without character. I think there was a lot of talk about the national team, a lot of expectations, people called this team the best in the history of Ukraine. The players probably weren't ready for such a big tournament themselves, or they didn't prepare well," Voronin said in an interview with the KraSava YouTube channel.
