Yesterday at the General Meeting of the participants of the Ukrainian Premier League was satisfied the request of "Dnipro-1" on the withdrawal of the club from the membership of the organization and, accordingly, from the Ukrainian championship of the season-2024/25, reports the official website of the UPL.
In addition, a vote was held on the options on the scheme of replacement of Dnipro-1 in the championship of Ukraine. According to its results, two proposals were determined for consideration of the UAF Executive Committee.
The first one, which gained more votes, is to give a place in the UPL to FC Minai.
The second - to hold a transition tournament with the participation of four teams ("Minai", Metalist 1925 - left the UPL at the end of last season; "Leviy Bereg", "Epicenter" - could not pass in the UPL through the playoffs at the end of last season in the First League), the winner of which will play in the UPL in the season-2024/25.
The final decision on this issue should be made by the UAF Executive Committee.
