Following the results of this week's European Cup matches, Ukraine has not changed its position in the UEFA coefficient table, but is now a hair's breadth away from 20th place.
Last Wednesday Dynamo Kyiv beat Partizan Belgrade (3:0) in the return match of the 2nd qualifying round of the Champions League, and yesterday Polesie Zhytomyr again lost to Slovenian Ljubljana (1:2) in the second qualifying round of the Conference League.
As a result, Ukraine remained in 19th place in the UEFA coefficient table. But Croatia, which is a line below, now has the same coefficient, and if next week Croatian clubs score more points in European competitions than Ukrainian clubs, the two countries will swap their positions in the table.
The key place in this part of the table is the 15th position: the countries that occupy positions 1 to 15 in the table will delegate two representatives to the Champions League, not one.
Recall that the final table of UEFA coefficients this season will determine the representation of countries in the European cups of the season-2026/27. At the same time, in the season-2025/26 Ukraine will be represented in the Champions League by one team for the first time in many years.
