The opening match of the Oleksandriya vs Dynamo youth championship was special for our team's midfielder Ivan Andreyko. The 16-year-old footballer not only made his debut for Dynamo U-19, but also managed to score a goal in stoppage time. After the game, he shared his impressions of the match, in which his team won 2-0:
Ivan Andreiko- It was your first official game for the U-19 team, how does this level differ from the DUFL? What impressed you the most?
- The U-19 level is characterized by higher speeds, the level of struggle on the field, the speed of decision-making and the individual skills of some players.
- Tell us about your goal, how did you manage to score?
- I was passed by David Bilyi, I moved from the flank to the center, struck a shot, and the ball ricocheted off the defender and into the near corner of the goal.
- What were your thoughts when you came on as a substitute? What instructions did the coaching staff give you? Was it difficult to enter the game during the match?
- The game was difficult because of the weather conditions, in particular, because of the heavy downpour. In addition, the score was only 1-0 in our favor, so I was a little nervous. The coaches told me to add speed on the wing and to sharpen up the game.
- The match was interrupted due to alarms, how much did the pauses affect the course of the match?
- It's always difficult to play when matches are interrupted due to air raids, because it makes negative adjustments to the course of the match, but I want to thank the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the fact that we can play football at all, even in war.
- How did you imagine your debut? Did it turn out the way you wanted?
- I think the debut was successful.
- In the new season, you can play for Dynamo U-17, do you already know how you will combine performances for both teams? Or will you play only for the U-19?
- Now I will play wherever I am needed - either in the U-17 or U-19, but in the future my goal is to play for the Dynamo main team.
