Metalist 1925 President Vladimir Nosov commented on the appointment of Patrick van Leeuwen as the team's new head coach.

"Patrick van Leeuwen has a clear task - to return to the UPL. He has a lot of experience in Ukraine and Europe. He has his own style and system, which I am sure he will be able to implement at our club. We all expect victories from Mr. van Leeuwen!" Nosov was quoted as saying by Metalist 1925's official website.
