On the night of July 25-26, 2024, Russia launched a missile attack on the industrial zone of Kramatorsk, which resulted in a fire on the territory of the Starokramatorsk Machine-Building Plant. The fire also destroyed the property of the plant, which manufactures artificial turf for football fields, and is now beyond repair. The total book value of the damaged equipment is over UAH 107 million.

All of this property has been under arrest since 2020, when one of the criminal proceedings against Andriy Pavelko was opened because it is material evidence. The investigation against Pavelko and former UAF Secretary General Yuriy Zapisotskyi is still ongoing.

Pavelko and Zapisotskyi are suspected of organizing a scheme to embezzle public funds allocated in 2017 for the budget program "Construction of artificial turf football fields in the regions of Ukraine," which they carried out with the help of the UAF plant.
