The head coach of Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih, Yuriy Vernydub, commented on the story of the Ukrainian championship match with Shakhtar.
- The teams wanted to finish the match on the same day, but the delegate and the referees were against it. But we realized that if we didn't start at nine, everything would be delayed. There was also a proposal to finish the game without fans after the siren. We were against it, because how can you play without people? Are they waiting for us to tell them? We did the right thing. At 22:12, the first alarm went off, at 22:25 it went on again, and at 22:45 it went off again. We would have definitely not finished the game," Vernydub said.
