Former Brazilian Shakhtar player Dodo told how he fled Ukraine at the beginning of the full-scale war. Dodo said this in an interview with the Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Dodo"I cannot forget the trip from Kyiv to Budapest in a freight train. We could see everything from the cars, it was something terrible. After leaving Shakhtar, I spent six months in Brazil and suffered a lot," Dodo said.
It will be recalled that Dodo played for Shakhtar from 2018 to 2022. The Brazilian defender played almost 100 matches in Ukraine. In July 2022, Italian Fiorentina paid Shakhtar €15.4 million for Dodo.
