Greek Panathinaikos and Greek national team defender George Baldock was found dead yesterday in the swimming pool of his home.
George BaldockAt first, the 31-year-old footballer did not answer his wife's phone calls for a long time and this caused her concern. Eventually the owner, from whom Baldock rented the home, arrived at the house and discovered the footballer's body in the pool underwater.
A police officer who arrived shortly afterward had to dive to pull Baldock from the bottom.
About the causes of death of the footballer there is no information yet. Greek media write that this morning will be conducted an autopsy of the footballer, the results of which will explain what happened.
