The head coach of the Italian "Roma", Ivan Yurich, gave another comment on the results of yesterday’s match against Kyiv’s "Dynamo" (1:0) in the 3rd round of the main stage of the Europa League.
“At certain moments of the match, I was very pleased with my team, but there were also times when I wasn’t satisfied with some of their actions. We still lack reliability in defense, but overall, considering all our chances at the opponent's goal, we deserved the victory.
I believe we played a very worthy match, creating many more goal-scoring opportunities than 'Dynamo'. Then the game slowed down a bit, so we had to remain tense until the final whistle.
Yes, we could have wrapped up the game earlier, but it’s important that the players remained focused and aimed at executing our plan for this match. I liked a lot in the team’s actions today, but there are some aspects we need to improve; we can achieve more in our game,” Yurich said in a comment to the club's press service of "Roma".
