On Sunday, October 27, in the match of the 11th round of the Ukrainian championship, Kyiv “Dynamo” played to a 1:1 draw with Donetsk “Shakhtar.” The match took place in Kyiv at the Valeriy Lobanovskyi Dynamo Stadium. I believe we played an incredible match today both in terms of building our attacking play and in terms of building our defensive play. My players were fantastic today.

Once we found ourselves with fewer players, it became more difficult for us. Nevertheless, we had moments to close out the game. But we didn’t do it. In the end, a draw. This is certainly not the result we wanted to achieve today. We are all disappointed. But I am proud of the team, proud of how they played today. I am satisfied with the style of play that we showed both when we were at full strength and when we were down to ten players.
We deserved more, but in football, it happens that you don’t always get what you deserve.
Only 10 matches have been played, and there are still 20 ahead. So it’s too early to say that the fate of the championship has already been decided. But Dynamo is currently the favorite in this race. At least for the reason that they are not focusing too much on their performances in European competitions. I don’t know why. In any case, I can assure you that we will fight until the end. Yes, we are currently six points behind Dynamo, but I can confidently say that this does not affect our morale. We will catch up with Dynamo and overtake them while the championship is ongoing.
