Journalist Serhiy Tyshchenko commented on the appointment of the well-known Ukrainian specialist Roman Hryhorchuk as head coach of the Cherkasy LNZ.
“As of today, Roman Hryhorchuk is the optimal choice for LNZ. Roman Yosypovych knows how to work with experienced players. The club does not need to undergo a staffing revolution in the winter. The coach is a perfect fit for the current squad.
I think that for Hryhorchuk, LNZ is the last chance to show his qualifications and confirm his level. Because his work with ‘Neftchi’, ‘Shakhtar’ (Soligorsk) and ‘Astana’ left many questions. All conditions are in place to demonstrate his level. If Roman Yosypovych doesn’t succeed in Cherkasy, he can already be confidently added to the list of failed pilots,” Tyshchenko wrote on his Facebook page.
Recall that before his appointment at LNZ, Hryhorchuk coached Baku’s ‘Neftchi’, with whom he did not manage to achieve a single victory (in nine matches of the Azerbaijan Championship, the team of the Ukrainian specialist drew five times and lost four times).
