Shakhtar forward Lassina Traore is unlikely to move to Brazilian “Flamengo”.

According to Globo, Flamengo was not pleased with the fact that the striker often gets injured, mostly related to his knee, when considering the Traore transfer.

There is now a high probability that the Brazilians will abandon the option of leasing and buying out Traore’s deal from “Shakhtar”, whose candidacy was previously approved by Flamengo’s sports director, José Boto.

It is worth noting that Traore’s contract with “Shakhtar” is valid until June 2026.
