Serhiy Buletsa: "They said one thing to my face and another behind my back"

Attacking midfielder of "Dynamo" Serhiy Buletsa, who is on loan at "Lechia", spoke about a difficult period in the Polish club.

— Serhiy, "Lechia" didn’t involve you in the training camp. What happened?

— I talked to the coach, and he said that this decision is not only his but also the club’s.

— What actually happened at "Lechia," why did you play so little?

— I don’t understand myself. As they say: "God sees everything." Both coaches (Shymon Grabowski and John Carver) told me: "You are a very talented player, and you will play," but then they didn’t put me on. It turned out that they said one thing to my face and another behind my back. I just don’t understand why "Lechia" took me then? When I moved there, I was assured that I would be playing, but they did not keep their promise.

They called me to help the team with my experience because there are very young players there, and as a result… This period has been incomprehensible to me and to those around me. No one understood why I am not playing. I want to forget about this and think about my future career.

— There was information that "Lechia" might loan you out. Is there any specifics yet?

— I don’t know anything yet, and I am waiting for some information myself.

— Have you been in contact with "Dynamo" regarding a possible return?

— We will talk today or tomorrow.

— Maybe you communicated with Shovkovskyi?

— No.

— In general, are you ready to fight for a spot in the "Dynamo" lineup?

— I don’t know what to say to this question because there are already a lot of players in "Dynamo".

— And yourself, where would you like to continue your career, in Ukraine or abroad?

— I just want to play football. That’s it. Of course, I want to try my skills in a foreign club.

— What is the term of your contract with "Dynamo"?

— Until the summer of 2026.

— Don’t you plan to terminate it?

— I don’t know yet what I will do. I am still recovering from this story with the incomprehensible club ["Lechia"].

— How do you keep fit now?

— For seven days, I was training with "Lechia," running tests. Now I will maintain my shape on my own: run and go to the gym.
