Ukrainian defender of Vesterlo Serhiy Sydorchuk spoke about the coaches of Dynamo he has worked with.

— Since 2012, you have had the opportunity to work under many coaches — Blokhin, Rebrov, Khatskevych, Mykhailychenko, Luchesku. What have you remembered most while working with each of them?
— If we recall everything, it could be a very long interview. If we minimize, let’s go in order. Blokhin — this is the opportunity to touch a legend. I mean to touch not in a physical sense, but in that we worked together. There were many bright footballers under him. Of course, Blokhin is the first chance, for which I will be grateful until I finish my professional career.
Rebrov — about titles, about my development as a footballer. I saw how young coaches can work. They can work a bit differently than usual.
Then there was Khatskevych. I am mostly grateful to him for the captain’s armband. The last period under Khatskevych, I had an injury, I did not play, it was a tough time. Under Mykhailychenko, I seemed to get my second chance — and I thank him very much for that. By the way, I was saying goodbye at the training base with the guys and could have left Dynamo. But it didn’t happen then. After that missed departure, things began to get better for me.
— Are you referring to the story with Beşiktaş?
— Yes, yes. And after that, Mister came in. He and Serhiy Rebrov are two iconic coaches in Dynamo for me. Mister taught me to focus on the little details. I saw that for a coach, it doesn’t matter how old you are — whether you are too young or too old. What matters is the energy you give to your players. He gave me a lot in football that I wouldn’t have been able to grasp in 20 lessons or 23. When you get a little older, you understand why he does everything.
