At the end of January, the main stage of the European cups for the 2024/2025 season ended. 108 teams competed in three tournaments: the Champions League, the Europa League, and the Conference League, among which were two Ukrainian teams - Dynamo and Shakhtar.

UEFA distributed a prize pool of 3.317 billion euros among the clubs that reached the group stage of the European cups: 2.467 billion went to Champions League teams, 565 million from the Europa League, and 285 million from the Conference League. The amount is determined by two components - performance in the competition and the coefficient value.
Both Ukrainian clubs competed in the main round of the European cups - Shakhtar in the Champions League and Dynamo in the Europa League, but did not reach the playoffs and ended their participation in the competitions.
Shakhtar earned the most - 41.305 million euros. This includes the participation fee (18.62 million), coefficient value (14.85 million), results in the main round (4.9 million), and for 27th place (2.94 million). Dynamo earned 12.862 million in the Europa League.
In total, in the 2024/2025 season, Ukraine was represented by five teams in the European cup tournaments: Kryvbas (1.101 million euros) started in the qualification of the Europa League but was eliminated in the playoff of the Conference League qualification, Polissia (0.525 million euros) was eliminated in the second round of the Conference League qualification, and Dnipro-1 refused to play in the second round of the LC qualification and ceased to exist.
In total, Ukrainian clubs in the European cups for the 2024/25 season earned 55.793 million euros. This is 2.465 million euros more than the previous season 2023/24.
