Ukraine in the starting state of the UEFA coefficients table for the 2025/26 season lost another position and is now 28th

Ukraine has worsened its position in the UEFA coefficients table in its starting state for the European Cup season 2024/25.

The Slovenian team Celje beat the Swiss team Lugano 1-0 in yesterday's match of the Conference League Round of 16, allowing Slovenia to overtake Ukraine, pushing it to 28th place.

It should be noted that this coefficients table will determine the representation of countries in European cups for the 2027/28 season after the end of the next European cup season and, we repeat, this concerns the state of the UEFA coefficients table at the start of the next European cup season—that is, before clubs begin to earn points and change their country's position in the table.
