Last winter, Kyiv’s “Dynamo” was one of the contenders for the now former defender of “Rukh” Alexey Sych, who subsequently moved to another Lviv club — “Karpaty”.

As journalist Mikhail Spivakovsky reported on the YouTube channel “TaToTake”, the president of “Dynamo” Igor Surkis and the president of “Rukh” Grigory Kozlovsky were engaged in substantive negotiations regarding such a transfer.
The “white-blues” were ready to pay more than 2 million euros for Sych's transfer, but the head of the Lviv club categorically insisted on different conditions: the transfer sum of 2.5−3 million euros, plus bonuses, as well as a percentage from Sych's next sale.
As a result, the parties did not reach an agreement, and almost immediately the 23-year-old defender became a player for “Karpaty”.
