Former defender of “Ingulec” Mikhail Shershen spoke about how problematic it is for players to end their collaboration with this club.
Mikhail Shershen“My contract ended in the summer, and I was offered to extend it. I asked for the negotiations to take place closer to the end of the season. At first, Kobin (Vasily Kobin, head coach of “Ingulec”, - note from the editor) assured me that he would support this idea and would insist on it happening. However, later, there was a meeting between the main players, the coach, and the club president.
At this meeting, the coach asked me tricky questions about the five suspended players and regime violations. He expected me to support him and confirm his words to the club president, but I disagreed and expressed my opinion. Two days later, everything ended in the president's office.
Other players had a slightly different situation, but they were also offered to sign new contracts. And they, like me, refused to discuss this six months before the expiration of the current contract.
In general, if you leave “Ingulec”, it always happens with certain problems, regardless of how long and at what level you played for the club. For example, at least you do not receive your last salary. As for me specifically, I just did not receive my last salary,” - quotes Shershen “Tribuna”.
