As reported earlier, the belongings of the Azerbaijan national team did not arrive with them to Poland, where they are set to play the World Cup 2026 qualifying match against the Ukrainian team.
This information was confirmed by Sport.ua, by one of the leading journalists of Azerbaijan. He also mentioned the reason and clarified details.
“The fact is that the plane that was making the trip from Paris to Krakow was smaller than the aircraft that the Azerbaijan team traveled to the capital of France on. Therefore, it wasn’t possible to load all the luggage onto the plane to Poland. The part that was left behind was delivered late at night.”
The Ukraine vs. Azerbaijan match will take place on October 13 at the Krakow Stadium in Krakow. It will start at 21:45 Kyiv time.
