The results of the first use of the M142 HIMARS multiple rocket launcher system (MLRS) in Ukraine have appeared.

Last Friday, June 24, with the help of these American self-propelled guns, the command post of the 20th army (military unit 89425) of the Russian Federation was destroyed, stationed in the building of school No. 2 in Izyum (Kharkov region), which has been occupied by the enemy for a long time.

As a result of the strike, a significant number of officers of the headquarters of the Russian army were killed, equipment was disabled.

A number of Russian telegram channels have already confirmed such a strike with a description of a number of signs inherent in the hit of a MLRS missile.

M142 HIMARS is an aimed weapon. With one launch, this MLRS fires six rockets with a caliber from 227 to 240 mm. The firing range of HIMARS is from 45 to 300 km (most often up to 70 km).
