The acting president of the FNL (National Football League) of Russia, Nail Izmailov, announced that clubs representing the Ukrainian Crimea temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation will be accepted into the league.
“The clubs of Crimea and Sevastopol will be accepted into the FNL, provided they pass all the necessary licensing conditions,” Russian media quoted Izmailov as saying.
Note that under the auspices of the FNL, the championship of Russia is held in the first and second leagues. Thus, the inclusion of Crimean clubs in these divisions will inevitably and guaranteed lead to further exclusion of Russia from all international tournaments held under the auspices of FIFA and UEFA, and, moreover, will most likely lead to the exclusion of the terrorist country from these organizations.
