The match between Armenia and Ukraine took place in the open air - without Russians

The Armenia-Ukraine League of Nations match in Yerevan was guaranteed to take place without Russian "fans".

As journalist Andrew Todos reported on the FootballHub broadcast, at the box office of the stadium named after Vazgen Sargsyan's tickets were not sold to holders of passports of the Russian Federation. Perhaps this became an indirect reason for the fact that the National Anthem of Ukraine was met with applause by the Armenian tribunes.
