Football expert Oleksandr Sopko told why most clubs in the Ukrainian championship this winter are planning one long training camp in Turkey.
Alexander Sopko- Firstly, in winter there is no alternative to Turkey - there are quality fields, you can play two control matches a day, because there will be enough sparring partners. It all depends on finances - who can go there and for how long. I think some clubs can implement the so-called shock collection - 14 days, just before the resumption of the season. In total, 35-40 days of preparation will be enough for the teams to get back to normal, especially physically. In Turkey, clubs can interrupt a protracted camp for two or three days to change the situation a little, the expert believes.
