Al-Ain head coach Sergei Rebrov commented on the shelling of the Dnieper by Russian troops.
“It is difficult to put into words the rage that I feel when looking at the terrible scenes of unprovoked and brutal aggression against our country.
On January 14, another shelling of Russian missiles again hit civilian infrastructure - it destroyed a multi-storey building in the city of Dnipro. These barbaric and senseless actions have already led to the death of 25 people. Another 73 wounded and 43 missing, at the time of this post.
I will not tire of repeating: leaders from all over the world must do more to help end the suffering of the Ukrainian people! Boundless gratitude and respect to the rescuers and volunteers who helped save as many people as possible.
And my most sincere condolences to all those affected by this tragedy. Ukraine will never forget this and all the other suffering that Russia has brought to our people!” Rebrov wrote on his Instagram page.
